The CSP-Certified Safety Professional Exam is the second-level examination required in the two test process. The criteria for the designation as a Certified Safety Professional are extremely high. This five and one-half hour duration of the computerized examination consists of 200 questions that examine the candidate’s applied knowledge and the application of the experience gained through professional practice. Both the ASP and the CSP are administered by the BCSP. Applicants must have a college degree and four years of professional safety experience. However, the failure rate on the ASP is about 50%. The reason most probably could be non-understanding of the scope and complexity of the test and have relied on incomplete and misleading study material, besides use of short cuts preparing for it. Redhat Safety’s workshop covers the four areas of the exam: engineering, management, information management and communications and professional conduct and ethics. Your preparation will include lectures, sample problems, and discussions on a variety of subjects to prepare the student for the exam. At the completion of Redhat’s CSP prep workshop, the participants will learn:
Concepts of probability, statistics, and calculus
Engineering: safety and environmental, occupational health, fire protection
Applied management: principles, ergonomic analysis, risk management, Workers’ Compensation and
Legal/regulatory and professional affairs
The Redhat Safety trainers will support you till you achieve your CSP credentials, but you have to necessarily first confirm your eligibility. Once we enrol you, you will be provided with 30 days training for ASP / CSP examination which will be supplemented by an end to end support with revision sessions and mock exams. We provide all the course materials and mock examinations will be conducted by Redhat on payment of a course fee charged by Redhat which includes registration fee, examination fee and cost of materials, training etc.
